Omar & Cilicia Jolly
Lead Pastor
A Pastor with a heart to reach people with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. Pastor Omar is a lover of sports, traveling (especially family road trips), and food.
Pastor Omar was born in Kingston, Jamaica and migrated to the United States as a toddler. Raised in Brooklyn, NY, Pastor Omar attended Sheepshead Bay High School and went on to receive an Associates Degree in Biblical Studies & Theology from Indiana Bible College in Indianapolis, IN.
God called Pastor Omar to his greatest adventure: following God and dedicating his life to ministry. After 10 years of full-time ministry as an executive assistant, student pastor and an evangelist, Pastor Omar and his wife, Cilicia, launched The Sanctuary in Elmont, New York.
Pastor Omar married his best friend Cilicia (Lisa) in May 2003 and together, they have four wonderful boys, Isaiah, Jayden, Caleb, and Ethan. Along with pastoring a church, Pastor Omar travels and brings the message of Jesus Christ to many churches and conferences across the country and overseas. His ministry has made a tremendous impact in the lives of many people, especially young people. Pastor Omar’s greatest joy is simple: His God, his family and his church.

Mario & Sheryl Minto
Associate Pastor
Mario Minto serves as Associate Pastor at The Sanctuary. He married the love of his life, Sheryl, on May 6th, 2006 and together, they have two children, Micah and Laila. Pastor Mario makes an impact in the lives of new converts by expounding the word of God in teaching the Discipleship class. His life is dedicated to building the ministry while encouraging others to live to their full potential in the Lord.
Mario is a third generation Apostolic. His walk with the Lord began at the young age of nine (9) when he was baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ in June 1991 and received the gift of the Holy Ghost shortly thereafter. He attended the New York City College of Technology where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Technology.
